I’m going to start off with something a little controversial. I know, a little daring for someone you just met. Well, here it goes. Self-care techniques are temporary band-aids if you don’t attack the root of the problem.

 Okay, hear me out.

Achieving self-care is not a one and done thing. It’s a continuous journey that happens every day. Not so bad, right?

I’m going to be brave and say that I am certain that this will bring some change in your life because I was right there with you.  A couple of years back, I found myself completely lost, disoriented, fatigued, and with health problems including depression, anxiety, dissociation, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) (which is the absolute worse). I didn’t even know what self-care was!

I was so astounded by how low I had felt and the different person I became, I promised myself I wouldn’t let it happen again and that I would get myself out of it.  It wasn’t easy and what conventional western medicine says works, didn’t for me. So, I became the participant in my own research experiment to determine what other things were out there to help me heal and in the process, woke up to my truth as I started removing the barriers that got me to that low point in the first place. These are the foundations of the Self-Care Warrior Queen program.

I can say that now after 6 years, I have healed most of my past wounds. I have never been more grounded in my physical and emotional body and soul, how it functions, and how to tend to its needs than now. Although “the work” is a lifetime process, I have never felt more like my true authentic self than I do now. I want the same for you.
